Pope Pius XI once described St. Dominic Savio as "small in size, but a towering giant in spirit." He died at 14 years of age. He was determined to become a saint and one of his greatest virtues was humility. He is quoted, "I can't do big things, but I want everything to be for the glory of God."
La Famiglia di Apostolati is about doing little things that make a big impact in the salvation of souls. Please consider praying this daily novena to St. Dominic Savio for the success of our little endeavors.
Saint Dominic Savio, during your brief life on this Earth, you had such a fervent desire to become a saint. You said, “Ask Jesus to make you a saint. After all, only He can do that.” Knowing that He granted your desire to be a saint, we ask that you intercede on our behalf to Jesus.
We pray for the needs and intentions of the family of apostolates.
Saint Dominic Savio, you once said, “I am not capable of doing big things, but I want to do everything, even the smallest things, for the greater glory of God.” As I go about my day, please show me how all things I do, no matter how small, may be used to glorify God.
St Dominic Savio, pray for us.
